there.. I am an independent professional female. Brunette, thick hair, with hazel / greenish eyes, a nice smile (so i'm told) and an hourglass figure.

So, cards on the table. I am looking for a committed relationship at some point. BUT I'm not desperate or in a hurry. I view this kind of thing as finding new friends and then seeing what happens. At the end of the day if sparks don't fly, then I have met new friends along the way! I don't want to be in your pocket, and will be doing my own things, but will enjoy our times together and telling you about what I have been up to!

I enjoy travel, live music, reading, eating out (... doesn't food taste good when you know you don't have to wash up afterwards?), history (am a bit of an anorak and want to eventually do an Ancient History degree for fun), wildlife (especially marine). Not up for watching endless hours of footie, I'm afraid, but nothing against others doing it as long as they continue to breathe. I love reading, relaxing on the beach and with friends over a good meal and a bottle of wine, or just snuggled at home with a take away and a DVD.

I am looking for someone who I can spend time with, who is willing to work hard to play hard and be an equal partner. I would like to eventually meet a life partner who is kind, genuine and loves me just the way I am.

I am not seeking a father for my children, as I am well able to support them myself, and they already have a father. Just seeking someone to share experiences and adventures with and maybe who knows? I do not play games, as it is a waste of time, preferring to treat others with respect and honesty.

I cannot promise to live up to the term 'soulmate' and am not seeking one, as this is a heavy responsibility to place on someone, and people are very lucky if they meet someone who they could call this. But if things 'click' and develop, the sky's the limit...
